Salt Lake Community College-skills Center Mission Statement:
The Skills Center represents the state's commitment to provide quality vocational/technical training for people who are educationally, socially and economically disadvantaged and people with disabilities. The Skills Center offers open entry/open exit, competency based, non credit courses and intensive student support services. To prepare our students to be personally effective within the circumstances of their lives. Programs and services are individualized, flexible and responsive to business and industry requirements and the education and training needs of an ever changing diverse community.
