Shear Academy Mission Statement:The mission and purpose of Shear Academy is to provide all graduates with the practical knowledge necessary to qualify them for an entry level position as a licensed master barber-stylist. It is our goal to provide up-to-date information with hands-on training in every skill taught, to adequately prepare students to take and excel on the state licensure exam, to assist in career counseling and achievement, and to instill the confidence required to be successful in the family hair care business. To achieve these goals it is our objective to uphold a postive educational and motivational atmosphere in the school, to maintain a low student-teacher ratio, to model a professional attitude, and to remain open and receptive to innovation and improvement.
