The mission of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center School of Nursing, under the sponsorship of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, is the development of highly competent nursing professionals. The strength of the school is the actual clinical experience that students receive. In each course the material taught is reinforced by caring for patients/clients and working in areas that are relevant to that course. The graduates possess the qualifications necessary to perform the entry-level skills associated with the profession of nursing in diverse areas such as hospitals, home health care, nursing homes, doctor's offices and occupational health among others. Graduates are well prepared to create careers in many fields and to continue their education for advanced practice roles.
