Miller School of Radiologic Technology, in partnership wtih Central Maine Medical Family's mission, is set forth to encompass the total realm of student radiologic technologists' education and welfare.
The school mission is to provide an environment enabling radiologic technology students:
A post-secondary education for those students primarily from the state of Maine.
To provide a high level of patient care within the medical imaging setting.
To develop their full potential as allied health care workers and to foster positive growth as individuals.
A complete education in diagnostic radiography providing the student with the opportunity of observing and participating in all diagnostic, therapeutic, and supplemental modalities.
The necessary preparation to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists' examination.
The preparation to become an active member of any medical imaging team.
To examine areas of specialization in which they can develop their Radiologic Technology interests forstering future professional growth.
